Do I need building work to install the AURA?
No. AURA replaces a compatible traditional floor-standing toilet. It only needs a water supply and a nearby power outlet.
Can my trusted plumber install it?
Yes. You don't need a specialist in smart toilets. Your trusted plumber can install it following the included manual, as long as the connections are ready.
How long does installation take?
Typical installation takes 1–2 hours if connections are ready. Time may vary if water supply, drain or electrical connections need adapting.
How does AURA differ from ESENZA?
AURA is the most complete ELORA SMART experience. Compared to ESENZA, it adds premium features such as anti-splash foam shield, automatic deodorisation, aromatherapy, voice control and infrared heat therapy. It also includes ELORA Premium Care, with 5 years warranty on technology parts, while ESENZA includes 3 years.
How does AURA differ from AURA Compact?
AURA is the most complete floor-standing model in the range. AURA Compact is designed for bathrooms where depth and space need to be saved. AURA also adds aromatherapy, infrared heat therapy and a digital glass panel, while AURA Compact prioritises the compact format.
Does voice control work in Spanish?
No. Voice control works in English. However, AURA includes a remote control in Spanish with 2-user memory and a multi-function side wheel.
Can I still use toilet paper?
Yes, of course. You can continue using toilet paper if you wish, although AURA combines warm water washing and fast drying in under 30 seconds to minimise its use.
What maintenance does it need?
Very little. The nozzle self-cleans, the rimless ceramic makes daily cleaning easy, and the water inlet filter can be cleaned if you notice less washing pressure. With AURA, you will also need to replenish the foam shield liquid and aromatherapy tablet when they run out.
Is it noisy at night?
No. AURA operates silently, below 59 dB, and has an LED night light so you can use it at night without turning on the main light.
Does it work with low water pressure?
Yes, as long as the installation meets the minimum recommended pressure for the model. Its integrated 5-litre tank and dual pump help maintain a stable flush even in installations with lower pressure.
